Welcome to Mile Hill Farms Mile Hill Farms provides top quality beef, garden produce, and also value added products. We follow organic principles in all our farming projects. All practices on the farm are focused on being self-sufficient and maintaining living soil quality, animal happiness and health. Our farm is located near Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Where to find our products In 2012 we have our vegetables and meat available, when it is in season, at the Thunder Bay Country Market Saturday morning (8am-1pm), through direct bulk sales from the farm, True North Community Coop, and The Superior Seasons online, local farmer grocery store.
We are very happy to have teamed up with these other groups and businesses to make local organic produce more easily available. It is great to see our vegetables, and meat enjoyed in so many homes, select restaurants, and grocers in town. Vegetables should be available by the end of May depending on the weather. We have sausages, beef patties, and select beef cuts available at the True North Community Coop starting in February. Pre-Ordering of beef sides and quarters will begin in March. The storage vegetables orders will be coming out in March also. The meat and vegetables from these orders will be ready starting in August 2012, through October 2012. All of our products are available seasonally at the farm gate. Please us call ahead of time for directions and to make an appointment. 807-939-7514.
